The Arkose management team will include the current management of Arkose and several new executives with experience at growing and managing larger business and assisting in public roll-up strategies. Subject to our conclusion of future acquisitions, we intend to hire additional staff with experience in oil and gas exploration and production. To support due diligence efforts related to acquisitions, management will rely on third party consultants to support an independent review of the operator’s data and studies for purposes of advising us of the merits of each potential acquisition.
Each of the members of the management team brings many years of experience to the Company at both analyzing financing opportunities in oil and gas, but also exposure to operational responsibility for P&L consideration of these assets. The Company has at their disposal a myriad of oil and gas professionals that are interested in assisting the Company at rates that will be incented with stock ownership. Further, as the Company is considering other assets, embedded personnel become available to the Company.
Bo Ritz, CHM, CEO & Director
Mr. Ritz is the CEO for Arkose on contract, he additionally acts as President for Inspire Oil and Gas, a private oil and gas operating company, with current holdings in the Texas Gulf Coast and Niobrara Shale formation of Colorado. He has had a diverse background as both an engineer and investment banker. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 1984 with a degree in Petroleum Engineering. He began his operational experience with Texas Oil & Gas Corp. Mr. Ritz then pursued several entrepreneurial ventures including the financing and development of several oil wells.
His experience in the securities and finance industry includes both private and public aspects on most facets of the industry with a specialization with micro and small cap financial structures. In 1989, he joined an investment firm, beginning his tenure in the investment banking world. He spent years as a top producing fixed-income salesman and then as a trader. In 2005, CapNet Securities, a a FINRA broker-dealer he founded, was awarded with the Aggie 100 award as the second fastest growing Aggie owned businesses. The award was given by the Center for New Ventures and Entrepreneurship from the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University. Mr. Ritz serves on the executive committee for this board with the University. In 2008 through 2013, he earned an MS in Petroleum Engineering at TAMU and his Texas PE credentials in the same field.
Mr. Ritz currently provides engineering and business consulting for several private equity syndicates. He is an expert witness in securities structuring for small deal finance, valuation services, and litigation support for value and strategy. He has managed and advised several operating partners whose holdings include a private equity portfolio of companies. He holds licenses currently in Texas as a PE, Realtor, Insurance Agent and is Securities Licensed (inactive).
Bill Kerrigan, COO & Director
Mr. Kerrigan is a geologist with 30 years’ experience in petroleum exploration, development, & management. Prior to founding Arkose Energy Mr. Kerrigan was Operations and Exploration & Development Manager for Llano Royalty Corporation from 2005-2009 where he led the development of the company’s production and reserves from zero to peak daily production of more than 30MMCFG/D and reserves of more 300 BCFG in the Barnett Shale. Mr. Kerrigan was also responsible for supervising the construction of production facilities and gas gathering systems. Prior to Llano Royalty, Mr. Kerrigan worked with a number of oil and gas companies in roles of increasing responsibility as an exploration geologist and senior executive including Western Reserves Oil Company, Vanguard Petroleum, Bex, Inc., Mosaic Petroleum and Petrogen. Mr. Kerrigan has been involved in the discovery and development of a number of oil and gas fields in the United States and has also been involved in projects in South America and the CIS
